We are a medical nutrition communications company committed to the propagation of reliable nutrition information that is consistent with long term health and wellbeing.
Dr David Bissonnette has over 10 years experience in university nutrition education providing professional training to dietetic and nursing students. Having did his doctoral work in Nutritional Science at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine, Dr Bissonnette held positions as assistant professor at St-Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia and at McGill University’s School of Dietetic & Human Nutrition in Montreal; he is currently an associate professor of nutrition at Minnesota State University, Mankato where he teaches and conducts nutritional research in the areas of nutritional support in critical care medicine, antioxidant therapy in critical illness, muscle fatigue in malnutrition, and obesity. Dr Bissonnette’s experience as an educator, clinician and researcher provides an excellent foundation for all the company’s endeavors in medical nutrition writing, medical nutrition documentaries and speaking engagements. Erin Bissonnette is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is working in a primary care setting. Having graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Erin Bissonnette's Nurse Practitioner credentials build on 15 years experience as a registered nurse in surgery, post-anesthesia care, I.V. therapy, coronary critical care and oncology/hospice. She brings to the company a wealth of clinical expertise and insight to pathophysiology and pharmacokinetic medical writing in addition to the development of nurse practitioner educational resources.
